Yeshiva Week January 19th through January 30th, 2023

Below is all the information you need for Yeshiva week 2023 in the Bahamas.

 

Davening Times.

Chabad will be hosting Minyanim 3 times a day at the Baha Mar resort from Thursday, January 19th through Monday, January 30th.

Shacharis 8:15am Mincha and Marriv at 5:30pm at

The Hyatt Waterside Chapel. (outside the conference center)

Shabbat Parshas Va’eira at The SLS Ballroom.

Candle lighting 5:27pm and ends 6:22pm

A space to light Shabbat candles will be made available at Cinko Restaurant.

Mincha and Kabbalat Shabbat 5:30pm Shacharis 9:30am (there will be a Women’s section). Mincha/Marriv followed by Havdalah at 5:30pm.

The Hyatt Shabbat meals will take place at Cinko.

 

Shabbat Parshas Bo at the Hyatt Waterside Chapel.

Candle lighting 5:32pm and ends 6:27pm

A space to light Shabbat candles will be made available at the

Hyatt convention center.

Mincha and Kabbalat Shabbat 5:30pm Shacharis 9:30am(there will be a Women’s section). Mincha/Marriv followed by Havdalah at 5:30pm.

The Hyatt Shabbat meals will take place at the convention center.

 

 

 

Kosher Breakfast Lunch and Dinner at the BAHA MAR

 

BREAKFAST

A full non dairy breakfast menu will be available daily at Cinko restaurant

from 8:30am to 11:00pm.

 

LUNCH

Knosh dairy food truck on the beach of the Hyatt. 

All products are Cholov Yisroel.

 Open daily from 11:00am to 6:00pm.

Friday till two hours before Shabbos.

Pop up BBQ on the beach open daily from 11:00am to 7:00pm 

The menu will include Salads, Hot dogs, burgers, fries and schnitzel. 
 

 

 

DINNER

CinKo, an Asian Latino Glatt Kosher meat restaurant.

Open each evening Sunday through Thursday from 5:30pm to 10:00pm.

Motzei Shabbat from 8:00pm to 10:30pm.

A full menu of Kosher options will be available through in-room dining.

Please note: Shabbat meal reservations must be in by Wednesday 12:00pm of that week.

I’m staying at the SLS or the Rosewood will I be able to make reservations at the restaurant during the week and Shabbat? 

Yes! The SLS and Rosewood are both located in the same building as the Hyatt and CinKo is open to all.

 


Does the Baha Mar offer room keys for Shabbat? 

The room keys are electronic so they offer a door magnet that will attach to the side of the door and avoid it from shutting. (They are available at the check-in desk of the Hyatt)  

 


Does the Hyatt offer Kosher in-room dining? 

Yes, a limited menu is available.

 


Will CinKo and Knosh be open after the dates of Yeshiva week? 

Absolutely! It is open all year round.

Are reservations required for the restaurant?

Yes! The Baha Mar is expecting a lot of people for Yeshiva week so reservations are absolutely necessary.

 

 

Does Cinko deliver to other hotels on the island?

Not at this time.


Will Chabad be hosting separate Shabbat meals? 

Not at this time.

 

Is there an Eruv around the Baha Mar. 

No there is not.
